Report

This truly is an excellent route across wide open upland terrain. Care however needs to be taken with navigation particularly over The Black Mountain. At SN 82062 17661 near Disgwylfa, if walking toward Llanddeusant the route leaves the good track you have been on and continues on a smaller path continuing north westerly. This could be tricky in poor visibility. Overall though this is a superb hill walking route and could be broken up by staying at Glyntawe where there is accommodation, campsite, pub and facilities.
