Description
This route goes to Kingston via Berrylands (station, refreshments). From Tolworth it goes through Alexandra Park, then follows the Surbiton stream through Berrylands Nature Reserve, before joining the London Loop near Berrylands. It then arrives at Kingston centre using quiet residential streets.
I made it because I wanted a walk that was more direct than the existing routes, which start from Tolworth by going away from Kingston to join the Hogsmill path; at the same time I wanted to use local green spaces and stay off the main roads as much as possible. It's got a big bend, but I think it's worth it to celebrate the nature reserve and enjoy such a pretty stream in this developed part of London.
For the most direct route I recommend Kintol Four

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.
