Description
This is a good route that snakes between King's Cross and and Highbury & Islington Station. If you are walking between the two stations this is a great way to go.
It is very similar to Kinhig One, but corrects a small mistake

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

30 Aug 2022I attempted to walk this route from King's Cross to Islington. Overall, the approach is a pleasant and attractive route, but there are no fewer than three points of plotting inaccuracies. You can't access Regent's Canal as drawn from Stable Street; there's no cut-through from the canal towpath to Bryan Street or from Bryan Street to Copenhagen Street as drawn; there's no path through Lonsdale Square; and the plotting at the north end of Compton Terrace Gardens could be slightly more accurate as well. I've uploaded Kinhig three, which is nearly identical but far more navigable and accurate.

06 Feb 2022This is a nice quiet, alternative route between Highbury and King's Cross stations. Some interesting features including a road of Egyptian Sphinxes, The local traffic calming is paying dividends as well making the route calm and traffic free. This is accessible at night too; although some bits feel quite remote.

05 Feb 2022So, I just uploaded this route which corrects a minor error on Kinhig One.
Want to get between King's Cross and Highbury & Islington Stations? Go this way! I walked it at night with two other Slow Wayers. Expect quiet streets and lots of Islington architecture.
