03 Apr 2024 (edited 04 Apr 2024)Walked from Kilburn to Camden. A good route, fairly easy to follow and mostly quiet.
Most of the route is on pavements, but there is a short section on a good surfaced track through the park under Primrose Hill. I enjoyed passing Abbey Road, even though the studios and the famous crossing are further south than this route, and St Johns Wood is pleasant too. It was something of a surprise to see a large crowd at Camden Town, which can't entirely have been due to the street dance performance.

19 Feb 2022I walk parts of this route quite often, but not in quite this way. It is a nice walk, although there are some cobbles to navigate on the Kilburn side. If I had to pick my own route, I would have walked along the canal from the Outer Ring to Chalk Farm Road, but I don't think it is important enough to make a new route for this.

28 Jan 2022I walked from Camden to Kilburn.
A good urban walk with a park in the middle. Generally wide streets and suitable for wheel chairs zig-zagging through the quieter streets. A lovely walk with a lot of distractions, Jazz Café, shops, pubs, London Zoo, Primrose Hill, Abbey Road. Even Lords Cricket Ground is close. You may want to wander off the path to take in these sights.

23 Jan 2022I walked this route from Kilburn to Camden and found it a really good urban Slow Ways route. The navigation is straightforward (even if the zig-zags are a bit annoying because you have to stick closer to a map!) and I loved taking the little diversion to head up Primrose Hill for a view of the city. A great walk.

15 Sep 2021This was a really easy route to walk through residential streets and with the advantage of two points of interest only a short detour away - 1. Abbey Road studios and 2. Primrose Hill where you can reach a fabulous viewing point over London. Camden is also a great place to finish up.
