Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

25 Dec 2023Nice route: canals, hills and plain. Great views over the Staffordshire and Cheshire plains from Mow Cop. Mostly easy to follow except one part near Kidsgrove.

16 Nov 2022I haven't walked this route and so can't give a proper review.
I wanted to say to take care with the gpx file as it's not particularly accurate. There are quite a few "as the crow flies" straight lines that aren't following the paths. If you look at a map as you go then you'll be able to follow the gist of the route. Please do then share your findings via review and or create a better gpx file and upload using suggest a better route.
Please also take a look at Alscon one which has a better drawn section between Ackers Crossing and Congleton.
