29 Apr 2023 (edited 30 Apr 2023)I had wondered if the apparent detour around Dodford was worth it and stumbled upon two issues within a very short distance.
1 The route marked follows the line of a fence and not a footpath, not so critical if starting from Kidderminster, but leaving you looking for a non-existent path from Bromsgrove direction
2 The Dodford Inn in no longer a pub and has very recently become an events venue. I'm told it's open on a couple of days, but this diminishes its role as a place to stop.

02 Sep 2022 (edited 22 Sep 2022)The route out of Kidderminster towards Mustow Green is clearly posted, however local notices warning of adjacent private land ownership could be considered as intimidating.
The remaining route is delightful with a mix of woodland and field walking with some impressive views.
