Surveys

We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.

Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

I had been looking for a route to link Corby and Kettering for a while and this is a good route. Walked with two friends and apart from the Little Oakley to Geddington stage, there are a lot of faint paths on this section, it was a great day out. This is one I'd walk again.

Highly recommended - it was muddy, but everywhere is muddy in January 2023! Little road walking and few stiles, and its always a treat to visit Geddington. No navigation challenges, but I recommend taking Featherbed Lane between Little Oakley and the A43 crossing, and keeping eyes peeled for deer in Boughton Park.
