Description
This is a partial solution to the problems I encountered following KemAmp one, removing the two places where the old route fails completely on the ground, i.e. the exit south from Stewartby and the line through the lodge house in Ampthill Park, both of which were blocked by fences and are clearly not rights of way. I have also made one other change to use a straighter footpath that cuts down the road walking on the B530 - both ends of this looked fine to me.
Note that because the time I had available for exploration was limited, I could not investigate options for removing or reducing the road walking on Woburn Road parallel to the A421 - this road is surprisingly fast and busy but also wide enough to allow space for traffic to pass - there are verges but they are mostly too overgrown to be easy to walk on.
Somebody with better local knowledge may wish to make further changes, for example there may be a route north of the A421 that crosses it using the bridge north of Stewartby Lake, but although I can see a number of paths to and through the industrial estate on OpenStreetMap, I don't know which of them are actually walkable
