08 May 2021 (edited 27 Jun 2023)The route from Ipswich initially passing under the Orwell Bridge and out towards Levington has not been surveyed, but looks generally acceptable.
The route from Levington down to Felixstowe at Beach Station Road follows existing Public Rights of Way and is generally very good.
However the route is then ruined by following busy roads through Felixstowe.
A much better route would be to go to the end of Beach Station Road, and turn left along the prom. Then follow the prom past the pier to Bent Hill, and turn up the hill to go straight along Hamilton road up to the old Station. Much of this route is pedestrianised and passes many interesting locations, shops, kiosks and attractions.
