26 Sep 2021Nice route with a good mix of woodland and open spaces. A few road sections without pavement, but these were fairly quiet. Fortunately not much mud today (late September) - only one section and it was easy to walk around.

31 Jul 2021Worked really well as a route, We did Cuckfield to Horsham and went a slightly different way into Horsham itself (Hammerpond Lane - quiet and most of it has pavement or wide verge) because we didn't want to go into the centre. As previous reviewer said, some sections had very long grass/overgrown foliage and there were some very muddy sections even in July. Road sections were quiet and had enough space to get out of cars' way. Some lovely views and a nice variety of different woodlands as well as field sections. No cows, some sheep.

02 Jul 2021Walked from Cuckfield to Horsham on 2nd July 2021. This follows some lovely paths through wooded High Weald scenery. Mainly woodland paths with some meadows and pastures. After a wet June the paths were muddy and in some places encroached by wet vegetation, grass etc. I could have done with my gaiters today.
One section on the lanes between Lower Beeding and Mannings Heath were not traffic-free and you need to listen out as some of the cars drive quite quickly not expecting pedestrians walking along the road. However, I didn't feel unsafe.
Three pubs along the way at Bolney, Warninglid and Lowe Beeding.
