Description
Alternative quieter, but more wriggly, backstreet option (in response to a Holmon One review that suggested this might be appreciated!)
via Lincoln's Inn Fields, Farringdon Street, the Old Bailey, St Paul's Cathedral, and passes the London Stone at Cannon Street. 2,000 years of history under your boots. Also passes over two underground rivers - the Fleet and the Walbrook.
There are two flights of steps on this route, between Farringdon Street and St Paul's; I think the quirkiness - especially through the Old Bailey and the surprise approach to St Paul's - make it worth a little heave ho. If steps are a no go, then route along Ludgate Hill and Farringdon Street. There is also at least one cycle barrier, some narrow pavements, and one or two kerbs, which may make it awkward to wheel

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.
