Strider
20 Jun 2023I walked from Holborn to Liverpool Street.
Easy to navigate and direct an efficient route along busy main roads.
But, so much to see, famous buildings as you march into the City of London, The Bank of England , the exchange. Architecture of so many different styles, pubs galore. Stone!, I wish I could have done this walk with Ruth Siddall of pavement Geology. Statues to (to me) unknown heroes, history, natural and human, all to see.
Good for wheels if you can weave around tourists roadworks and bollards.

23 Jan 2023A fascinating stroll that had so much to see in a very short distance. Safe and direct with lots of potential stops. No steps or stiles. Very very easy to follow.

06 May 2022I walked Holliv two and wasn't all that pleased, as it was pretty indirect and wind-y. That said, I was nervous about this route, as it follows major roads the whole way!
In the end, I was extremely pleased. The route is easy to follow, direct, accessible, safe. There were a few traffic filters that kept traffic low until just before the Holborn end. The pavements are wide. There's generally lots to see along the way (like the poultry building!).
Overall, I thought this route was way better than one might worry it is! Very pleased.
