Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

31 Dec 2024The route guide was true to what I found on the ground other than 2 places which I easily negotiated. My mapping also stopped short on the finish but that could have been my equipment rather than the route guidance.

08 Sep 2022 (edited 12 Sep 2022)As urban exits go this was quiet when I walked it and offers up occasional flashes of beautiful farming and coastal wetlands. Once you get into open country Angarrack, Gwinear and Lanyon add interest to the walk of mostly well marked footpaths. There are many great old granite styles - all different!
The only glitch is the non existance of a footpath at Polmeanor Farmhouse but this could be a small mapping issue; simply continue then follw the woodland path to switch back on yourself and pick up the trail.
The urban footpath into Cambourne was lively when I passed and Cambourne has a bustling and varied town centre to explore.
A happily reccomended route for slowways.
