01 Jan 2023This is probably the fastest and easiest route from Folkestone to Hawkinge and vice versa. The route is largely following the road on a footpath so suitable for walkers, wheelers and runners. You need to be aware walking from Folkestone is largely up hill so a good level of fitness or time to stop will need to be factored in.

28 May 2022A practical A to B route, entirely on pavement along side main roads. Quickest and easiest route just not that pretty. No other real way to cross the motorway.

20 May 2021Not the most exciting route to walk, but is the shortest between Folkestone and Hawkinge and is all on paved walk ways so no mud when wet. Folk to Hawk is mainly up hill and has some great views when not raining as it was the day I did this review.
