02 Feb 2024I walked from Hammersmith to Kensington.
Good simple direct route with lots of interest.
Building work had closed the pavement one side but lots of safe crossing points, and it worth meandering to and fro to see all the points of interest.
Good route, good for wheels.

17 May 2023Surprisingly direct route between Hammersmith and South Ken tube. It's along Hammersmith road all the way but this road was relatively quiet and calm. This route takes in the iconic Design Museum, Holland Park and the Olympia conference centre.

08 Aug 2022It is what it is. There is a more scenic route available as this is pretty much a straight stroll down Kensington High street and Hammersmith Road.
Not unpleasant but not particularly exiting.

02 May 2022Walked Hammersmith to Kensington on a quiet Bank Holiday Monday.
Very direct and accessible route with wide pavements and safe crossing points. Several good food options, and I enjoyed browsing in the charity shops. Passes by Olympia exhibition centre, which is having work done but I think still operating. And I was surprised to see date palms growing happily, must be a special Kensington micro climate! (Photo)
Yes, it is a busy artery. Some (including myself), might prefer a quieter back streets approach; having had a look around I’d say there would be some payoff with accessibility (steps, park opening hours), and directness.
4 stars from me.
