Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

04 Jun 2023I tried cycling this route and I’ve succeeded, but boy, was I in for a ride.
The region here is hilly, so there are multiple uphills and descents.
There is a campus shortly after you begin the route and it is private property. You are not able to go through. The pathway that goes around that campus is a very difficult one because it’s overgrown and there is a very steep descent. You are then instructed to go over Dudley Canal no. 2, yet there is no clear way to do it. Multiple bridges across the canal are closed or non-existent.
There are multiple flights of stairs, so using a wheelchair on this route is completely out of the question.
The route is indeed a scenic one, but only go through it if you have time to spare and enough stamina to climb. There is a more straightforward and shorter route available.

17 Sep 2021It was fun to go off the beaten track and explore new ways of getting places. Unfortunately this route is needs some adjustments.
