Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

16 May 2021Overall a good route, however, in late April 2021 there were a couple of sections where either the path was completely overgrown (see photos) or it was not clearly signed (see photo examples of gate stating "Site Access" and no footpath sign at all at this point) or the stile was in poor repair (see photo).
The detail of the route plotting could be improved, there are decision/ junction points at which the route is unclear (for example, the route around the church at the very end).
Most of the route is on footpaths, the parts on road are on quiet roads and so quite suitable for walking with care.
There are multiple stiles and uneven terrain so it may not be suitable for everyone.
