Description
This route largely follows Globro 1, with key adjustments to avoid dead ends and to cross under the A38 safely rather than join it. The walk will go through residential and minor roads from Gloucester to Brockworth, all on paved paths

15 Aug 2024It's an extremely easy route, as the entire walk is on flat roads. I was chatting with a friend the whole way, and before I knew it, we had reached Brockworth! Brockworth is a great place to stop for a rest and pick up some supplies at the nearby Co-op.

06 Aug 2024A safe and pleasant route through the town with well-connected pedestrian road and a footbridge. It is simple to follow and it’s perfect for a leisure walk. A shop near the end of the route is available for resupply.

05 Aug 2024A practical, direct route from Gloucester to Brockworth through residential areas. We adjusted the original Globro One to cross under the railway safely and over the A38 motorway, as well as after encountering a couple of dead ends. I've mistakenly forgot to include the footbridge crossing over the A38, but it'll be pretty obvious when you come to it!
This is not necessarily scenic, but it is easy to navigate and probably the best way between the two destinations, so 3 stars.
