09 Mar 2023 (edited 16 Mar 2023)Whilst still recovering from invasive treatment for Plantar Fasciitis, I managed to walk a series of routes between Beckington and Frome, and whilst on paper it looks ok, in reality the fp between Berkley Lane, and Whitechapel Lane, doesn't exist. It has been deliberately and systematically eradicated by landowners at both ends. I managed to get through, trespassing via another field. I have raised multiple issues to Somerset Council, and would suggest any other walkers attempting this route do also. Apparently the route has been closed for 30 years, so Somerset Council are in no hurry to rectify ( ST 79525 49641 to ST 79224 50213 ).

10 Oct 2022Leaving Frome town centre care needs to be taking as route was at times difficult to follow especially at the cricket club. Once of of the town the walk improved until we got to The Pines Residential Site were the foot path was blocked between the site and Whitechapel Lane. and made it un walkable spoke to a resident at Whitechapel Lane who said the path had been blocked for the last 20 years. After this the walk was enjoyable and was easy to follow.
