Due to Plantar Fasciitis, I've currently only done between Frome and Beckington, and frankly its bad.
The shortest route between these two places is as Frotro one, ie along the pavement adjacent to the road as far as Oldford, whilst not the most scenic, it is the shortest at about 3.50 mi. This is about 4.30 mi, but the serious downside is getting across the VERY busy A361, challenging, 3 lanes of 60 mph cars, that take no prisoners. Do not be lulled into a sense of security at photo, there were hundreds of cars. I intend to recommend the routes removal. If your inclination is to avoid the pavement route, a far nicer route is to the west of the B3090 past Orchardleigh Lake. ( its about 4.70 mi )I will upload a route as FroBra 5 shortly.........its far safer.

I've rated this a two for four main reasons:
- there is one section about a mile or so long which is very difficult and uncomfortable to walk because of unmarked stiles, stiles obscured by thick growth and sections of footpath heavily overgrown.
- 5 of the fields had large herds of cows in, one group was very lively, the other had a bull amongst them which we did not see until leaving the field.
- the busy, 3 lane A361 road had to be crossed, using embankments and the signs and stiles were heavily obscured by hedge growth as they had been poorly maintained.
- although there are some excellent sections for wheels the countryside sections would be impassable because of the rough surface and stiles.
Most of the obstacles were between W3W: "modes.charmingly.acquaint" and "fronted.dreamers.grunt ".
I intend checking out an alternative route further west.
