Sandhurst to Fleet.

As already mentioned in a previous review, long sections of this route at each end lead through urban areas along busy roads, esp. at Sandhurst end. The good point is that there is a pavement on the edge so it can be considered safe, easy to follow and relatively direct. The most enjoyable part is in the middle through the military training grounds. I found the most tricky bit when I was to cross Minley Road roughly in the middle of the route. Cars drive rather fast there for a comfortable crossing.
As for the ground, there were parts that were a bit muddy even when it had not been raining in the previous days but there was always a way round it. My shoes remained dry.

It may be more pleasing to eyes to follow this route in wormer months when the countryside is greener.

This route has a mixture of walking through the pleasant army training grounds and the less pleasurable pavements walking alongside roads, but do offer a good walking surface. Crossing the A30 did prove to be a challenge due to the volume of traffic and lack of a crossing point near the A30\B3272.
