21 Aug 2022It's a short walk mostly along public roads with not a great deal of interest along the way apart from a wonderfully decorated post box and the modernist Bourne Hall which looks like a magnificent concrete flying saucer. There are also some interesting new builds and renovations.
On this occasion, I used Outdooractive on my phone - the download doesn't work on OS.
There is little elevation gain and no major obstacles.
The train journey from London Waterloo is quick and regular.

25 Jul 2022A pretty easy going route. A fair amount of residential walking though.

25 Jul 2022Not exactly the Surrey countryside so road walking is to be expected!

03 Feb 2022Pleasant walk optionally via Priest Hill Nature Reserve. Avoid crossing the A217 dual carriageway at Banstead crossroads because of 60 mph limit by using pedestrian lights at Fir Tree Road and Brighton Road to enter Banstead via The Horseshoe. Food shops in Nork Way near Banstead Station. Good shops at Banstead (M&S Food).
