Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

16 May 2022It’s a nice easy to follow route along the backstreets between Euston and Kings Cross. This route takes you through the historic Somers Town too.

19 Jan 2022I walked from Kings Cross to Euston and had absolutely no trouble. The route is perfectly plotted, and I appreciated that it avoided Euston Road.
I knew that a government body had developed a route between these two stations that didn't use Euston Road, but I could never quite figure it out and follow it using only signs the council had put out. This Slow Ways route fixes that!.

09 Nov 2021A walk I've had to make literally hundreds of times but the first time I've ever used this route. So much nicer than the walk down Euston Road and not much longer. Ties together the three key stations of Euston, St Pancras (passing through the business end of the station) and Kings Cross. Well done to the designer for choosing the stepless route. Full marks!.

02 Oct 2021Very easy to follow, felt much calmer and safer than the route along the main road. There were a couple of roads by St Pancras that I was worried about as they were quite busy, but they had clear crossings and felt safe overall.

30 Sep 2021This is a pleasant route between Euston and Kings Cross, down quiet streets. So much nicer that being jostled along the fume filled main drag between Euston and Kings Cross. It is signed all the way, very easy to follow.
