Interesting to note that due to having a heavy bag, I defaulted to the pre-Slow Ways way I'd have gone. Now I've read the reviews I wish I had gone for Euskin two. Next time! This just felt like 'the way', but I guess that's exactly what we're trying to change! Easy, direct, stinky, noisy, but it does pass Friend's House, which exudes good juju, if you cross busy Euston Rd.

I walked this route from Euston Station to Kings Cross.

There’s a couple faults with it:
- it doesn’t take the step-free route out of Euston Station, even though one exists
- it sticks entirely to the traffic- and pollution-clogged Euston Road.

That said, the route is extremely direct, easy to navigate, and the pavements are wide. Overall, a perfectly good route, though I can’t quite rave about it!.

Most direct version of this Slow Way, so if you are in a hurry to get between Euston - St Pancras underground and Eurostar - Kings Cross, then this is the one to take. As pointed out before, this route has steps. Euskin Two and Three are more enjoyable, more accessible and link better to Thameslink and East Midlands trains at St Pancras. Saying that, before Slow Ways, this was the route I mostly took. And for a connection's sake, I definitely would again. A low pass, but a pass all the same!.

I'm not so keen on this one. It's certainly direct, but it's also Euston Road. At least there is now a pedestrian crossing on Churchway, which at least makes it safe to walk.

I agree with the earlier comments - this is the more direct route, with euskin two being only slightly longer and a lot quieter. But this one does have at least one item of note - the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Hospital. This is named after the first woman to qualify as a doctor in the UK, AND she also became the first female mayor. She deserves to be a lot better known than she is.

Noisy, dirty, polluted air, crossing lots of busy side roads. The slightly longer cleaner air route (Euskin 2) is much more pleasant and worth the extra 2 minutes it takes.

This is the most direct route betwee the two stations, but it is not step-free. It also runs along a busy main road while a small detour goes down quieter streets.
