Description
I tried to walk Eppstap One in Winter and failed. The OS map shows paths tracking across fields, these have been ploughed over and in Winter they are flooded and the mud is deep and sticky. I got stuck and only just managed extricate myself as I had walking poles. In Summer there will be crops.
Eppstap Two is essentially the same but takes the edges of the fields, often close to the river, where there are established paths full of foot prints and deer slots and with firm footing. It also includes a short cut to avoid prolonged verge walking close to Stapleford (Thanks Jane for this tip).
I also redrew Loustap One for the same reasons
