11 Jan 2023 (edited 08 Feb 2023)Nice walk. Lots of great views in various directions, flip side is the steep hill. Not full marks as it meanders a lot, pointlessly. Could save a lot of distance but still keep best bits, also would be better sticking to the green chain walk to use their signs, especially in the woods.
I'd recommend EltWoo 2 instead, which has same amount of green space walking, but less road.
Cafe at top of Oxleas Meadow is a nice place for coffee or mid-route snack. Quite muddy in Shepherdleas + Oxleas woods, worse in Shrewsbury Pk as it's more clayey.
ETA - I've uploaded EltWoo 3, an improved version of this route, which I recommend if want to see the views from the top of Shooters Hill and you like helpful fingerpost signs, but don't want to get lost down a flytipped alley in Plumstead.

03 May 2021Mostly very nice, a couple of points where we took a detour to avoid a bit of less walkable road (Wrekin road) and one area that needed a very small detour because the plotted route was inaccessible (end of olven road).
