Hiking Historian
13 Sep 2022A nice wander through some lovely countryside. It is, however, mostly only a foot-only route. Lack of ramps or road crossings; narrow pavements and a short unpaved section of road; footpaths across grassy or sandy ground; the odd step; and a lengthy canal walk.
I've tried to find a better route for wheeled users, to no avail.
That said, as a walk, it's a very pleasant one, with good transport links and shops at the Maghull end.
