Description
This route has a couple of small improvements compared to Cowbar1:
1) The walk around the airport perimeter fence just north of the Highwayman Inn (north of Rhoose) was a hard slog along a field edge. The soil was dry, but in muddy conditions it would be much worse. This route uses the quiet road instead.
2) It uses quiet lanes between Llantrithyd and St Hilary, avoiding access issues on the short stretches of bridleway and footpath
