Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

31 May 2023This is a great route, at first I thought it was simply the Jurassic Way. But closer inspection shows it is a much better route. You get to walk past pretty villages and fields which farmers have cleared the paths. The walk past Laxton Hall was something i wanted to do for a while. The only down side is the end walk in to Corby through the industrial estate. But that does not take away from a really enjoyable day out. it did help we had bright dry weather.

13 Sep 2022This route visits some of Northamptonshire's prettiest villages with very little road walking, a variety of terrains and a well-placed cafe in Fineshade Woods. Navigation is easy, as the Jurassic Way is well signed, and the only "hazard" is crossing and re-crossing the A43. The section between Corby tunnel (signs that it may get muddy in winter) and the housing estate is a bit bleak, but soon traversed.
