02 Aug 2022I completely agree with James
I undertook the route from Ludgershall toward CD
a )My first problem was the fp in Ludgershall from Butt Close LUDG17, which I couldn't easily find, I opted to continue along the main road to the bridlepath....no extra distance.
b ) I was aware of James review before walking, and chose to ignore the section along CDUC15 from Heaven to minor road [ SU 25897 52316 to SU 25117 52642 ]
Having encountered CDUC15 on the walk Tidcol one which was impossible to walk it was a no-brainer
I chose to continue along the bridlepath CDUC8 to Wick Down
c ) CDUC15 from the minor road to Mill Lane is not accessible, and the alternative along the railway track is completely overgrown
As a result, I undertook a different route, which was easy to follow, with no challenges, which I will upload as Collud two, and recommend Collud one is deleted.

31 May 2021Big problems with this one, the half of the route closest to Ludgershall is good, although likely to be muddy in the winter. The northern half (from where it leaves the edge of the woods) doesn't seem to exist anymore, no gaps in crop on field, gates wired shut, totally overgrown. Diversion to the east is long and not without issues. Needs urgent attention.
