Description
This route follows the NCR 1, the cinder track, from Whitby to Robin Hood's Bay.
It's an easy footpath with a reasonable surface that is suitable for wheels.
It's not as close to the sea so you don't get the views.
You have to cross a main road but it is traffic light controlled and there are a couple of gates. The surface is either asphalt or compacted cinders
