08 Aug 2023After leaving Clapham Junction I was soon onto quiet residential streets with lovely old terraced housing from 1873. The A3220 was tricky to cross but there was a pelican crossing 100m away, up from railway. There was constant noise of planes, but I hardly noticed the sound of the trains just behind the housing. The neighbourhood gradually changed and got busier going on towards Battersea. Generally good surfaces with dropped kerbs, with one sloping section, but probably all wheelable.

31 Aug 2022I walked this route from Battersea to Clapham Junction. It's perfectly fine - safe, direct, etc. It's not the most interesting walk, but it's easy to navigate and a good no-nonsense option between these two settlements. I also walked Clabat 2, and I think I might prefer that route, but this one is just fine as well!.

23 May 2021A surprisingly pleasant walk for urban street walking, apart from the busy main roads at the two ends. In between it follows quiet and tree-lined residential streets of mainly 2-storey Victorian terraced houses. The short dog-leg in the path shown just before the end of the route is easy to miss, but it only saves about 100m of walking along the road so does not really matter.
