Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

12 Feb 2022Easy to navigate, mostly follows the Monarch's Way which is well-signposted. Some hills but nothing you wouldn't expect on a walk in the Cotswolds.

19 Aug 2021I have walked this same route, so I can verify it.
its very nice, but does have some steep climbs around the Arboretum and Blockley.
There were cows in the field during my descent into Blockley from Moreton -in - Marsh
Its a great walk, very picturesque
If you get your timing right you can get refreshments in the hotel in Blockley
I gave it 4 stars for having cows in the field otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

18 Jul 2021Excellent route - hilly but not over-demanding. Paths in generally good condition. Safe with no serious obstacles. Cows in one field but presented no problem. The best route from Ch Campden to Moreton.
