There is 70 % paved with tarmac, or consolidated gravel, with the remainder pasture, or fields with crops. There are
< 15 stiles, 2 kissing gates, 1 pedestrian gate, and a set of 22 steps.
The route has two pubs ( both serve food ) and 1 good shop, together with bus stops, bench, and public phone box The section which lets the route down, is the 1 mile section on pavement alongside the A4, which is very busy with all traffic travelling at 60 mph.
