Surveys

We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.

Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

  1. Complete the survey training.

Most of this Slow Way is fine but unfortunately the route plotted near the Wildlife Centre is still on the east side of Forest Farm and also ends up in the gorge as I encountered the same stern warning sign shown in the first review of Cardnewn 1 on the path a little north of the farm (at approx w3w relished.cult.dreamer). I didn’t attempt this section because I was walking alone. Instead I backtracked and crossed over to the west side of the farm and used the more straightforward path (which is, I think, the one the original reviewer of Cardnewn 1 meant) to get to the Teifi marshes instead. I will post a third version of the route that I have tried which is easier, about the same length and takes a more off-road route into Cardigan.
