19 Jun 2022This is a good route overall, but there are two places where access to parks (St. Martin’s Gardens and Camden Square) are inaccurately drawn, leading to doubling back and diversion.
I’ve made Camhig Two which corrects the access problems, and otherwise keeps the same routing, and I recommend using Camhig Two.

19 Jun 2022I walked this route from Highbury and Islington to Camden Town. It's a great route, but there are a few inaccuracies in the plotting that need to be addressed. Camhig two fixes them and is totally accurate to follow.

03 Apr 2022I walked from Highbury to Camden.
Mostly street walking along not too busy roads and stringing together 5 parks along the route. A gentle walk, paved all the way and suitable for wheels.
The only navigation issue was through St Martin's Gardens which you cannot exit where shown, see map below. Worth going through as it has lots of interest.
It is not always a beautiful walk but is busy and interesting enough to be worth doing, Dawdle through the parks.

06 Mar 2022This was a good walk, with more greenery than I expected. Although Holloway Road is a little busy, it wasn't that bad and it's not a long stretch. The entrance into Caledonian Park is a little off than what this route shows (it's a little further west). It has a lovely clock tower though. There is another deviation needed in Camden Square, as the route shows you to go through the middle, but I suspect you'll get caught up in the roses! Following it along the outside is just as nice.

30 May 2021Nice route. you could also amend it slightly to avoid the busy section of Holloway Road and get more greenery: set off from H&I station via Highbury Crescent and Fieldway Crescent then rejoining the route St Mary Magdalene churchyard.
