As direct as it gets. As others have said, you could alter the route to get off the main road, but this would, in my view, add unnecessary distance, make the route harder to navigate and traffic isn’t that bad (for London). Short and sweet with more food options than you can shake a chicken drumstick at.

Can't get lost on this one! All 3 routes I walked today were plagued by building and/or road works. I took the opportunity to walk in the middle of the (closed) road!. All works easily walked around.
Stairs at the Euston end can be circumnavigated via the bus station, then it's wheel friendly.
A very varied and good route.

This route is direct and safe to walk all year round. I walked in the Camden to Euston direction on a spring Saturday. Traffic was pretty light and the path felt safe. It is suitable for wheeled users most of its length with just a few kerbs that could be tricky. When I walked in Spring 2024 the southerly section from Euston to Mornington Crescent was subject to massive roadworks but this only affected the walking route slightly. It reduced the traffic considerably making the route feel quieter than expected for so near to major roads.

Simple and straight, but also boring and along a busy road. It's a good route nevertheless.

A no-nonsense all pavement direct route from Camden to Euston. Pedestrian crossings wherever needed. Stops and shops throughout its short length.

Good direct Slow Ways route, but follows busy roads the whole way. I found it extremely enjoyable to watch the city change as we traveled along this nice short route!.

You don't get many routes that are more direct than this.

The route does follow busy roads. A slightly longer but greener and quieter route could be added as an alternative.
