Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

17 Aug 2024Cycle routes and briedleways out of Caernarfon make for easy walking to Tryfan Junction Halt. Not very well trodden paths alongside river up to Bodgarad, passable with some care and a couple of gates to climb over. Path clearer from Bodgarad but not signposted. Path no longer exists from cottage at SH 50790 57776. Easy enough to route round into the village on the minor roads.

01 Jun 2024A gently climbing route to Rhosgadfan. The route partially follows cycle ways. There is one busy main road to cross. The narrow roads are generally quiet with local traffic only. At one section stiles have been removed meaning a diversion through farm land. There are buses to take you back to Caernarfon from Rhosgadfan.
