I did not walk all of this route as I came from Little Witcombe so joined at Shurdington for the rest of the way into Cheltenham. The first part I walked was along the busy A46 in Shurdington - not very pleasant with all the traffic, even if there are pavements to keep you safe! I think there should be a better route along the parallel back roads in the village to avoid the A road. The last part, into Cheltenham, was built up but along quiet streets and past parks so a pleasant choice of route into the centre. There's an almost limitless choice of cafes at the end point!.
