An easy walk with stunning views. Walked 30/08/2023 and there were some paths completely overgrown but with a walking app it was easy to take a short detour. The sections on roads were quiet and interesting to walk through the villages.

This is a great walk, and the 5km between West Bexington and Abbotsbury is stunning. Fantastic views and the path is clear and well maintained. The footpaths on the rest of the route aren't so easy to follow, so take a map or walking app. The most difficult section when I walked was between the fish farm and Lower Sturthill, so overgrown that I wasn't entirely sure where the path was.
There are a few lane walks, but the lanes are quiet, and a relief after hacking through vegetation.
If the paths were maintained this would easily be a 5 star walk.
Update Mar 2023 - Dorset County Council report that the worst section I mentioned above has been cleared.
