Walked in reverse, from Walton to Bootle. A mostly urban walk, often through residential areas. The route is sound, apart from some errors that I'll rectify on BOOWAL Two. For instance, there is no access to Washington Parade from the canal, and the sometimes less than accurate map shows road crossings where there are none.

Mostly a foot and cycle route; whilst there are many ramps, crossings and no obstacles of note, there are some high kerbs.
