I started to follow this route from Bideford, but where it leaves the Tarka Trail there is a section of road walking that I decided was too dangerous. It's a busy road and there is no path. Most of the route is along the old Bideford road, which I drive along frequently and don't fancy walking. It's very busy for a back road. Use Bidbartwo instead.
