Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

29 May 2022A very scenic route between Beddau and Cardiff where you are able to walk/run the route following off road trails for most of the journey. There are a couple of points where you have to leave the trail briefly due to new developments or parts of the trail being inaccessible but with short detours you can soon get back off the tarmac and continue to enjoy nature and some fantastic views. Be sure to take the turn off back onto the trail just after the church on Pentyrch and not the one just before it. I made this mistake and had to double back. There is also a left had turn onto a trail at Efail Isaf that can be easily missed if you are not looking out for it so keep an eye out and you hopefully will not go wrong. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable route between Beddau and Cardiff.
