I walked from Battersea to Victoria.
Simple, direct, and Battersea Park is a delight.
I always enjoy Thames bridges and Chelsea Bridge was no exception.
Lots of interest.

Very soon after leaving Battersea I was into Battersea Park which was nice. It was very busy with runners and families on a Sunday. Stupidly, I missed the initial turn off the main path because of my GPS failing, and also being lazy! I just followed the crowds which was the wrong way. The actual route was much nicer, quieter with more trees. Then I reached Chelsea Bridge which was fun (I got a glimpse of the famous Battersea Power Station), then main roads to Victoria Station. It was busy but interesting.

This is a pleasant and direct route, easy to follow. It passes a number of interesting buildings along the way especially if you are a 1930s Art Deco fan. Victoria Coach Station, the former Empire Air Terminal and of course Battersea Power Station. A short detour east along Grosvenor Road provides the iconic, 'Floydian' photo opportunity of the power station across the river. There is also a nice section through Battersea Park which is extremely busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Very good direct urban route, including river crossing (views) and Battersea Park.

Well drawn with safe road crossings at all points.

Battersea Park does close overnight but not until 10.30. The path through the park which this route takes is not all lit at night, but there is a close-by alternative which is broad and well lit.

Dropped a star cos of the heavy traffic in a few places, there isn’t really a better direct option unfortunately.

I walked this route from Victoria to Battersea Park.

As the other reviewer noted, the first half is along fairly busy roads. The pavements are wide and it's generally acceptable, but not spectacular.

The bit through Battersea Park, in contrast, is really quite lovely. The Chelsea Bridge crossing is a standout, too.

Overall, a good route.

The route heads into the wonderful Battersea park and skims around its edge along beautifully kept footpaths.
You’re then treated to a stroll across Chelsea bridge before a simple but functional jaunt towards Victoria station.
