Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

18 Oct 2023Overall a nice steady route, easy to follow and pleasant to meander.
It is up and down, with plenty of high stiles to negotiate.
Just before reaching the A64 you will pass a homemade W.C., just in case your caught short !!!.
A few areas to take care, the small section next to the A64 is narrow, rocky and requires concentration. Take care crossing the A64.
The road sections are on quiet contry roads and were of no conern re traffic.
As you come down the hill into Collingham the path is narrow with a couple of difficult stiles. Just follow tje gap in the fences between the housing !.
Again take care crossing the A58.
The final section besides the river is the sting in the tail narrow, up and down with plenty of wooden step sections. Requires full concentration until you reach the end of the wooded section.
Hard work when your fatigued.
Last section on open grassland and pavement to finish.
Enjoy, I did.
