Report

Starts well if walking from Selston as I did. Mapping error at Pinxton Wharf, there is no path. See alternative route which will be uploaded soon. Definitive paths are obstructed across Smotherfly open cast site which was not reinstated. Pleasant walk by the ponds at Cotes Park but area and approach blighted by industrial units which specialise in waste recycling. Narrow enclosed paths not pleasant. Still managed some inviting pictures but not a walk I would take again.
