19 Oct 2022Useful linking route, no problems. The approach to Old Oak Common is a busy road surrounded by construction for HS2 and the huge new Old Oak Common station/interchange/hub.
Take note of Cristie’s first comment/review - there’s no access to the Old Oak Common meeting point at present, but I think the route should stand as it is for the time being despite its obvious limitations.
I spoke to one of the construction workers and he said it’ll be 10 years to completion. In that time the Slow Ways network will evolve, as will the construction site, so I imagine at some point this will be reworked. The meeting point itself is a guesstimate based on artists’ impressions and plans, I imagine that will also need to move when the actuality is revealed.

27 May 2022Short, functional route mostly through suburban streets, with the final section in the run-in to Old Oak Common itself having major construction (for the Elizabeth Line depot, and HS2). Another reviewer has noted, but it bears repeating, that this node will become accessible again once the works are complete. And in the meantime, its a small treat for those (like me) who like their engineering.

03 Oct 2021Quick and direct route - nearly all through residential areas, so not especially interesting, but safe and accessible. Old Oak Common is just a building site currently, so harder to judge the final section.
