22. After another wobbly stile, join the forestry track, going right. This is a tough climb on good ground. I east image it at 50-60% and it last for about 600m 6.6 km from start — 14 Jun 2021

24. Go through a gate and immediately turn left through a hedge. Watch out for nesting lapwings. Cross the field diagonally (some of it boggy) and go through the gap in the dry stone wall. This is the NARROWEST lint of the route (11cm) 7.7 km from start — 14 Jun 2021
25. Take the gully immediately ahead (uphill - 40%) and then follow the quad bike tracks before taking another gully up hill (40%) onto the moor. The gully’s can flood in heavy rain 7.7 km from start — 14 Jun 2021
26. Once on top of the moor, follow the gamekeepers track (suitable for vehicles) going RIGHT until you come to a fork in the track. Take the LEFT fork which becomes more of a path 9.2 km from start — 14 Jun 2021
