    13. The trickiest point of the route involves crossing a very poor quality stile with unsecured steps, with a steep drop into a wet ditch and an electric fence on a steep slope which needs to be clambered around. 15 km from start — 20 May 2021

    14. At the time of the survey, one large field, the footpath/right of way was blocked by multiple electric fences, with no obvious diversion. These can be carefully traversed by more agile walkers but it may be preferable to follow the alternative right of way to the west, which reaches Ashley Lane at Tenter Hill, and then walking 500 metres east to rejoin the route at Sand Bank 15 km from start — 20 May 2021
